How does the free trial work?
Install the plug-in and open it. A 14-day trial key is generated automatically. No credit card, no signup. When the trial ends, buy a license or the plug-in stops working.
Is this a subscription?
It's an annual license, not an auto-renewing subscription. Each purchase gives you 365 days. When the term ends, renew it manually to keep going. Nothing auto-charges.
Can I use it on multiple machines?
Yes. Licenses are per-developer, not per-machine. Use your key on as many of your own machines as you want.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only for the initial trial activation and license purchase. After that, the plug-in validates your license locally. You do need internet to reach your LLM provider during chat sessions.
What LLM providers are supported?
The plug-in works with Claude, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, and Google Gemini through their CLIs, plus the PI client, which also supports AWS Bedrock and many other LLM providers. You bring your own subscription.
How is this different from the free open-source project?
agentic-fm is a free, open-source CLI harness: you export your solution, the agent generates fmxmlsnippet, and you paste it back into FileMaker. The plug-in does the same jobs in-process — live Solution Intelligence, generation validated against your running FileMaker engine, and direct script install with no copy-paste loop. They share lineage and interoperate, and the plug-in is an enhancement, not a replacement: start with the open-source project and add the plug-in when you want the faster, in-FileMaker path.
